Tuttarana
A cappella
From the Italian word tutti, meaning all or everyone, and the Hindustani (northern Indian) term tarana, a musical form that allows solo singers to display vocal agility, this original work brings both together to create a unique experience for choirs. With mixed meter, a fast tempo, and quickly moving rhythmic phonetic syllables similar to scat, it is a challenging work that will be well worth the effort.
